Once I caught my breathe I stepped into a neatly organized store packed with rows and rows of cool stuff. Every bowl filled with stones and crystals also had an explanation card which I appreciated. Lots of rock and crystals to choose from. You can get a reading here too. I got a good feel of what Sedona was about when I left and began my Sedona adventure. I agree with the sign saying Voted best Sedona gift shop. Lots of cool items here and most of all Thank You Sedona Crystal Vortex for my free gift. (Read Less)

Cassandra provided a lot of information about me that was spot on that I had not mentioned to her before. She thoroughly explained to me my chakra colors and explained what each meant. She also answered some questions that I had about my future and the symbols she was explaining to me made complete sense to where I am in my life right now. I wish I had recorded our session so I could remember everything we had discussed. She also did a reading of the tarot cards as well which had significance to my life. So, while visiting Sedona, I had to get my woo woo crystal fix! I frequent a very good store at home, so I was worried that the downtown Sedona shops would be touristy joints selling spray-painted pieces of gravel. Nope. SCV was a great find!
The store is well-laid out, with a large variety of stones for all tastes, needs, and budgets. They had the usual suspects (hello rose quartz etc), along with many crystals I had never seen before...beautiful!
The store staff is a perfect mix of available and laid-back. I had lots of time and space to pick the perfect stone for me. And now I await the full moon....woo wooooo! (Read Less)

Great place for crystals and rocks! My husband and I stopped here while on our honeymoon and bought a few things. Staff was friendly and very helpful! Wanted to try the amethyst massage but didn't have enough time! Next time we visit we will be back here!

They by far have the best selection of crystals and stones I have seen in Sedona. The lady who helped me (I unfortunately can't remember her name but she was petite with blonde hair in a low ponytail) was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable when it came to new and full moon rituals. She provided me with insightful information that I previously hadn't read or known about and was able to guide me towards what items to best work with. I also like that they provide you with a card for each crystal and stone that you purchase that has bulletpoints on the significance within it. (Read Less)

Nice and airy, with wide spaces to peruse through the store's wares. I've been to this store before, but my group didn't buy anything. This time, I was with my aunt, who is both a devout Catholic and a very spiritual soul (being one doesn't necessarily mean you're the other). She wanted to check out the singing bowls here when she spotted signs outside mentioning them. She has one back home and wanted to show me how to make them "sing." I couldn't get a hang of it here, since I hadn't latched on to a most important tip of the process, and I was so frustrated. We did leave with some beautiful pieces of crystals. 🙂
We found another SCV location nearby (on a second level of the block), where I was able to make the bowls sing, now that I figured out what I was doing wrong at the first location. I bought a bowl here, but upon reflection wished I'd gone back to the first location (this review's address) as it had newer and more beautiful bowls to choose from. Also, the cashier that had bagged my crystals at the second location chipped one of them, and I didn't notice the damage until I'd returned home.
I wish Yelp allowed me to check in to both places so that I could write reviews for both, instead of lumping them all here. All in all, I'm glad we visited SCV, as I now have a gorgeous-sounding bowl to aid in my daily meditation! (Read Less)

I got a few lovely stone rings for a pretty penny. I do love the way they put the cards up for each stone with the meaning and spiritualism of each. That's definitely a nice touch! They have a great variety of stones but most everything is sterling silver - not so much gold here. And I prefer gold jewelry.
As for the psychic reading - I paid $40 for 20 minutes which is a definite splurge but when in Rome I guess...as they say this place is a spiritual vortex so I had to do it. Plus, I am kinda into all that new age stuff. It's fun! My psychic used the tarot deck to read my current status and answered my specific question. She was very intuitive and I thought everything she said was right on the money. As for readings, they aren't to tell you the future but to guide you in your journey. I would say a new age shrink of sorts. At the end of the experience it was well worth it. I would just say she must be making bank at $40 for 20 minutes...I may need to look into changing careers! We were directed to Concetta, it was $70 for a 30 minute couples reading. I've had readings before but this was my fiance's first. Concetta was very in tune with us, she explained what our purpose was here on earth and even though my fiancé and I had very different "callings" they were definitely spot on. She also helped us each connect with a parent who crossed over and was able to read their personalities very accurately. I wish we had more money for a longer reading - we're already hoping to return someday and have Concetta read for us some more. Definitely a fun and enlightening experience. Their crystals are so beautiful! You can even make your own necklace with the crystal you choose. I chose the angel aura quartz and it practically glows. Nicole was so nice she helped me put together my necklace and made it perfectly.

Amazing. Got some great stones for my dad - rock hound not for spiritual properties. Had my aura read and it was such a fantastic experience. Compared this reading to one earlier in the week, and it was 1000x more detailed and spot on. Loved it.

I fall into the latter category and was buying some magical wizard stones as a joke for a friend. What I appreciated was that nobody shoved any interstellar vortex nonsense down my throat. They let me know they were there and available if I had any questions, but then they left me alone to look around.
And there really are some lovely stones and crystals in the shop, so independent of whether you fall into the "wealthy kept wives scratching for some small shred of meaning to justify their appalling lives of consumption by being exploited by new age snake oil sales people" category, or just buying a pretty rock for fun, you will probably find at least some of what you're looking for here. I figured that even if she was totally inaccurate or fake - I'd just lose $60. Well - it was the real thing. I never had a reading like this before. She did her own visualization first, then talked with my spirit guides, cast tarot, and then spread the tarot cards out from another deck for one more card. So, there were basically 4 separate readings....and they all kept coming referencing things that are going on & have been going on. They referenced some things that are in the future and how I might have to deal with them, but this was just a whole new experience for me. I've had "psychic readings" before - and they were not done by people like this. Not even close.
I liked the store too. They have a lot of rocks and crystals! I seemed to think that their rock / crystal prices seem more reasonable than the prior store I was in - but unfortunately I already spent money at that place which was a little closer to the jeep tours. Come here first! (Read Less)

The store location (now there are two) is perfect, the collection of crystals, books, CDs, DVDs, etc is great. They offer quite a few services.
Customer service is their signature, the ladies are very welcoming and they make you feel at home.
The Tarot Cards was my initial attraction, I've had readings with most of the ladies and each one of them offered me one advise or another that helped or made me have more awareness. However, the real spiritual impact happened with Ashiko.
I've had the most amazing tarot readings, hypnosis and past life experience sessions with her. This place has become a second home to me so when I get an off day from work, I get in my car and go to Sedona to relax, get some positive Red Rock uplift and meet Ashiko and that's quite a treat.
That store stands out in Sedona among all of the other stores that offer similar services and I strongly recommend it. (Read Less)

(Read More)This review is overdue since I went there a month ago and completely forgot to write a review. Sedona Crystal Vortex was awesome! I was in town with my twin sister & my mom & we stopped in at Sedona Crystal Vortex by fluke. The owners were so friendly and patient when explaining everything to us. I ended up buying a pair of crystal earrings after I had talked to them throughly. The best part in my opinion was the reading I had with Janine Miller. I had always wanted a reading so I decided to take a leap of faith and try it. I felt that she was spot on with some of the feelings I had in terms of recent decisions that I was making. I barely asked any questions, instead wanting her to talk, and she brought up past and current situations that I was in. Janine also talked about my future (in terms of a couple of years from this year) and I was surprised at what she told me. I hope those events occur because they sound awesome, but understand that her reading and what she picked up on can't take the place of my actions. Either way, I'm going to see how much of it comes true and then go back and visit her a year from now. I'm glad she happened to be there that day (since there are other mediums who work there); she was kind, gentle and respectful. On a side note, my twin sister and I were a bit surprised and both laughed when we learned a couple of weeks after our visit with Janine that she is from Ohio, seeing as we went to college there and mentioned it to her. She never mentioned that she was from there which didn't affect us nor bother us, although apparently it was a problem for another reviewer.
I recommend this place to anyone who's wanting to learn more/expand their knowledge on crystals and/or anyone who wants a reading done. (Read Less)
